Congratulations Edwina and Frankie!

While we have all been hanging out at home, one of Tragen’s daughters has been learning how to make a difference in the human world. Frankie and her beautiful mum Edwina, have become a qualified story dog team, allowing them to go into the classroom and give students some much needed confidence as they learn to read.

Well done guys, we are super proud and think you should be too x

Free pillow fluff

Spring is here and we all know what that means, molting season is upon us!

Tragen has started her big shed for the year. While we are used to having a few hairs around the place throughout the year, she tends to drop her massive winter coat in one big molt. You know exactly where she has been throughout the house, leaving little tufts of fur as her calling card. Thankfully Dianne has gotten on top of it over the last two weekends with many biiiiiig brushes.

Free pillow stuffing anyone?

Inca is her usual absolutely perfect self, not doing anything wrong or dropping any hair because she is the best :P

We are very lucky to have had our owners send us photos and updates on each of the pups from Tragen’s second litter. They are loving life with their families and getting up to no good during their ‘teenage’ phase. Here are some photos of each pup kindly sent to us over the last few months.

Saying goodbye to our last litter

It has been a bittersweet time for us saying goodbye to our last litter. Tragen is doing super well and is glad to be back doing normal doggy things. Our owners are happy adapting to new life with their little hair monsters and the back garden is slowly recovering from being a puppy playground. While we couldn’t be happier seeing them go to good homes, we are sad to watch them leave, especially as this is our last litter for the foreseeable future.

Thank you to Yarrambat and Craigieburn Vet, our wonderful owners, our friends and family who have all helped us raise this beautiful litter and the litters before them. We miss the pups already and will miss our yearly tradition of puppy raising.

Please enjoy these pictures of our beautiful owners with their new fluffy bundles of joy!

All our love, the Eboninca Team x

Welcome to the world

We are very pleased to announce the safe arrival of five healthy puppies, born in the early hours last Wednesday morning. Tragen is doing super well with her three girls and two boys who are noisy and strong for a week old. We are not taking enquiries for this litter as all are sold. We look forward to seeing our owners in the coming week and introducing them to their new family members.

Thank you to Craigieburn Vet for checking the pups after they were born and for being our sounding board throughout the birth.

Puppies!

We are very pleased to announce Tragen’s last litter due 12th December 2019

Mum is doing extremely well and we are looking forward to having puppy cuddles throughout the Festive period. We are not taking puppy enquiries at this stage.

Cya Pups!

Sadly the time has come for the pups to go to their new homes. We will miss their cute little faces heaps but know that they are all going to wonderful homes where they will be cherished all their lives.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these babies the best they can be by visiting, playing, teaching and minding these gorgeous babies while we had the pleasure of raising them.

Tragen is doing super well, and is happy to have more time to herself. She is currently getting a well deserved bath and pamper and will go back to being Alf and Dianne’s favourite child.

Here are some pictures of our puppies with their new families.

Last Days with Pups :(

We are super happy (and sad) to let our puppies go home to their new families over the next few days. We have a beautiful video to share of the pups playing with their Aunty Torvi. Thank you to everyone who visited and helped make these babies the best they can be.

Tragen's First Litter Turns One!

Wishing all of Tragen’s first litter with Eroica Kennel’s “Clyde” a very happy first birthday!

We have been super lucky to have all our owner’s send us some wonderful pictures of their fur babies. We love how different and how beautiful each of the girls are now they are (almost) all grown up.

Magnificent Millie

Almost Five Weeks Old.

All our puppies are now walking(running), talking(yelling) and escaping their confides at any given opportunity. Everyone is getting used to ‘real’ food and testing out their needle teeth on everyone and everything. Tragen is not impressed with the latest development but is doing well weaning her pups. The pups have also graduated to the puppy pen where they get to run around all day with toys, obstacles, different textures and of course; each other.

Thank you to all our owners and guests who have come to visit in the last week. We look forward to having you over again soon.

On that note, we are taking expressions of interest for one female puppy who we have not found a suitable family for yet. Please contact Dianne on 0409 173 764 or via our Contacts page for more details.

Here are some photos in the meantime :)

Two Weeks Old.

We are super pleased to let everyone know that the pups have all been named and are wearing their collars now. Their eyes are opening but they can’t properly see yet but they are beginning to hear. It won’t be long before we are welcomed with little barks whenever we go visit them and mum.

Tragen is doing an excellent job and is a very attentive mother. All the pups are putting on lots of weight and while they can’t properly walk, they are all demonstrating a solid drunken sailor impersonation. For this litter we have settled on gemstone names.

We have some photos posted below;

Red is Garnet (female)

Purple is Topaz (female)

Orange is Amber (female)

Yellow is Citrine (female)

Blue is Agate (male)

and Green is Zircon (male)

We hope you enjoy them!

Adventures at Eboninca Kennels

A little while ago now, Tragen was taken on a hot date by Bullit of Eroica Kennels. He was a proper gentleman, showing nothing but love for our girl…

Tragen was wined and dined, and they shared a lovely evening together. Bullit was falling for her…

Low and behold, a few months later Tragen gave birth to six healthy and very happy puppies!

Congratulations to Bullit, his owner Kev and his breeder Kim at Eroica Kennels!

Tragen is doing very well after her pups were born in the last days of 2018. Four girls and two boys with all having very loud lungs and wiggly tails. The team at Eboninca has their work cut out for them over the next few months as we raise these babies to be the best they can be.

Thank you to all who helped and we will keep you all posted on future updates

Happy New Year!

Update on Tragen's First Litter - 6 Months Old

Six months ago (or there abouts), Tragen’s first litter went off to their new homes. Since then we have heard wonderful stories and been sent beautiful pictures showing all they’ve been up to and how they are now.

Thank you to our wonderful owners for sharing these pictures with us so that we can then share them with you. We hope you enjoy them all :)

Inca's last litter turns 1!

A little while back, whilst we were still in the midst of puppy raising mania, Inca's last litter turned one. We had a little post about how Torvi celebrated but since then we've had some updates from her siblings. Without further ado, here are their twelve month photos :)

Going Home

Sadly for us the time has come for Tragen's litter to go to their new homes. We've had so much fun raising these girls and know they live full, happy lives with their new owners.

Thank you to everyone for helping make these girls the best they can be. We appreciate it and we know our new owners will too.

Good luck girls!

7 Weeks Old

Here are some more pictures from the last two weeks and a couple of videos too. We're all feeling a bit sad that we've only got a few more days with all the pups before they go home to their new families. Makes every cuddle all the more special and even the biggest of nibbles almost ok.

Torvi Turns One!

Wishing a super Happy Birthday to Inca's last litter [the Viking litter] who all turned one this Sunday! We'd love to see some pictures of how everyone spent the day and what they all look like one year on. Scary to think how quickly they've all grown up but at the same time it feels like Torvi has been part of the family forever.

Torvi had a great day with her human mum Emma and the rest of the Eboninca gang. She  had her own special cake which she shared with her mum and sister. If you ask me, she looked like she enjoyed her birthday getup a little too much...
