Puppies!

We are super pleased to announce that Tragen has had her litter. Four girls born throughout yesterday 02/02/2018 at home. Mum and bubs are doing really well, all are healthy and big, just like mum.

Thank you to Craigieburn Vet for keeping in contact with us throughout the day and night to make sure all was well.

Here is a photo for now, our next update will be in a few days time when we've picked names for everyone. We will spam the site with photos too :)

Inca's last litter, 6 months old

Hi all,

Hard to believe that it's been over six months since our last litter went home. We've been in contact with our owners and they've been wonderful enough to send through a few photos of their not so little pups. Thankfully we've had no horror stories, only entertaining stories of puppy mischief. We hope you enjoy.

Website Under Construction

Hi all,

As we are undergoing changes with our breeding kennels we will be going through some attributing changes on our website.

Inca has now been desexed and is thus 'retired'. Our focus with her is now exclusively to go on  adventures, focus on tracking and obedience training and basically being spoilt rotten 24/7.

Tragen is knuckling down in preparation for Breed Survey which we aim to take in October. This will enable her to have her first litter, appropriate sires available, in 2018. She is currently in class three at GSDCV and is still Dianne and Alf's favourite child, although hairier than the other three.

Torvi aka "the Torvinator" is coming along nicely, only destroying garden items once or twice a week these days. Her focus is on GSDCV training, growing up and maybe going in a show or two.

Please stay posted in the coming weeks and months as we add new photos, create new layouts and generally have fun with ebonincakennels.com :)

Torvi Update

Hi all,

It's been a little while since we last updated the blog and I figured I should share some photos of Torvi now that she isn't such a pup.

Torvi and Emma have been doing a heap of work and have become quite the bonded pair. It can be so frustrating when you give Torvi a command, which she ignores, only to do it when Emma says so. Pups..

In saying that, Torvi is growing into a beautiful little lady. Nicknamed the 'Torvinator', as she is into everything, always. When she does burn out of energy Torvi is hugely affectionate and loving, happy to fall asleep in your arms and gently cover you with puppy kisses. She loves her big sister and her mum, follows them everywhere and tries to join in the fun wherever she can. This has ensured that she is a little tank with awesome muscle definition and a keen mind.

Here are a collection of photos of the little monster, we hope you enjoy them :)

Pups go home :(

Hi all,

The time has come for us to say goodbye to our pups as they go home with their new families. We've had updates already that everyone is doing well, killing slippers and the like and we'd like to share some last pictures before we go quiet for a few months.

Thank you to everyone who helped raise these little monsters, we greatly appreciate all of you and I can't even get started on just how many there are.

Heaps of love!

Pup's last photo shoot ends in Wedgies

Hi all!

As we took pictures today for our puppy packs; imagine paws covered in poo, rain, unflattering double chin angles and raging after taking the best picture to see the little monster had her eyes closed...

Anyway, looking up we spotted two circling wedge tail eagles. Luckily we've always made precautions regarding eagles but there is something about them hovering close enough to see the different patterns on their feathers that will get your heart racing. These guys take newborn lambs so a puppy would be a piece of cake. We're all good but just wanted to share to make everyone aware. We'd hate for you to lose a small dog or pup to one of these guys and it's my worst nightmare with ours.

To lighter topics! Here are the acceptable pictures we took this afternoon, enjoy :)

Belated update

Here is a video and a beautiful picture from the last little while. I've had some technical difficulties and we've had a little delay in posting, bad Beth.

Enjoy :)

Puppies!

Happy to let you know that all our pups now have homes, we don't know who is going where just yet but it'll work itself out over the next few weeks.

The pups are pretty much fully weaned, annoying Inca every chance they get but she is pretty much done with them. Tragen isn't afraid of them anymore but loves playing, she just doesn't realise her own size and can be a bit dopey [classic Tragen].

Here are some photos and possibly a video or two, enjoy :)

Puppy Update & Important News

We have a few videos and pictures to share from the last little while. We also have important news in the fact that we currently have a spare puppy looking for her forever home. We aren't sure who is going to who yet and so we are not sure which of the pups will be spare. Please let us know if anyone comes to mind as we are taking expressions of interest now.

Please call Dianne on 0409 173 764 for more details.

Puppy Update

We are happy to let you know that all the puppies have their collars and names now. We've gone with names from the tv show Vikings; yes we are cool, and Viking names are tough, stop judging us.

We've taken some more pictures for owners and included a reference picture of who is who. Floki has no collar in these pictures as she is a little bit smaller than the others and we wanted to give her more time to catch up.

Everyone is putting on weight nicely, eyes are opening and in the next week or so they should be able to hear. Inca is still putting on her 'proud mumma' face and Tragen is extra protective of the property, even barking at birds [but that is pretty normal for her].

Enjoy the photos and we look forward to seeing you all playing with the pups soon :)

Puppy Pictures

As promised, here are a couple of pictures of the fur balls. Inca is an excellent mum, even tolerating having Tragen come to say hello to the pups. Everyone is putting on weight nicely and they all have excellent lungs [trying to get them to be quiet is the issue]. Next update will be in a week or when we get some more pictures.

Puppy News

Super pleased to let you all know that Inca has given birth to 6 healthy girls. Unfortunately we had one pup stillborn, we all tried our best to get the little girl going but sadly it was not meant to be. Mum and bubs are doing super well, off at the vet getting checked out now.

Dianne will be in contact with all our puppy owners over the next few days.

Photos will be up in a few days time, we will send some through to our owners too.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes and help, we look forward to introducing our fur babies to you all soon :)

Confirming Fur Babies!

We are super pleased to confirm that Inca is carrying a belly of fur babies. She will be due in approximately five week's time, give or take a few days. Fingers crossed that all goes well until our final x-ray when we will confirm numbers.

Our next update will be in four week's time :)

Inca's 2nd litter 12 month update

Hey guys,

We've got an update on Inca's second litter who are about to turn twelve months old. We are super happy with how they've all turned out, so much so that we are repeating the breeding lines between Inca and Esko. Thanks to our owners for sharing these pictures and all their furbaby stories from the last twelve months, we are super proud :)
