Exciting News

We are excited to announce that with a little luck, we should be hearing the pitter patter of little paws come the end of February. We are now taking expressions of interest, please stay tuned for further details.

Also please check out the Sound Proof Puppy Training App, this app is fantastic in desensitising your puppy from everyday noises. We will be using this for our next litter and we highly recommend you use it too. Available at the App Store and Google Play or alternatively at www.my-puppy-training.com

We didn't forget about Tragen..

Hi All,

A few of you have asked why we didn't put Tragen in the last post. The truth is, I had a lot of trouble narrowing down the pictures to put up so, without any bias whatsoever...here is a whole post on her :)

Tragen is a beautiful, cuddly, cheeky and stubborn little monster who has truly become the favourite child of Dianne and Alf. She is a constant source of entertainment and wonder with all the naughty things she gets up to. We really didn't need that many garden ornaments anyway...

Enjoy :)

Six and bit months on

Hi All,

It's been just over six months since our first litter went home with their new families. Since then we've kept in contact and have been super proud to hear how everyone has been going; even the stories of dogs stealing items and 'helping' mum and dad in the garden. We've been very lucky to have been sent photos from everyone and we'd like to share them [with permission] to show just how far each pup has come. It's amazing to see how different they are now from when they looked like little seal pups crawling around the kitchen floor...

Enjoy :)

Thank you to all our puppy owners for taking the time to send us these beautiful photos, we wish you and your giant fur balls much happiness in the years to come.

Tragen [the terror] Update

Hi All,

Tragen is now five months old and has, as of yesterday, lost all her baby teeth. She is typical puppy; full of beans and into everything, especially shoes [her favourites being boots or even better, slippers]. Thankfully however, she only hoards them and doesn't chew them...yet.

Here are a couple of photos we've taken over the last few months. Stay posted for more in the coming weeks or alternatively head over to our 'About Us' page.

Check out these cuties

We were very lucky to have some photos taken a few weeks ago at the Northern branch during class. Here are a few that we thought we'd share with you.

Considering these two did nothing in class, they were pretty tuckered out.

The pups have flown the coop!

Hi all,

Here are the pictures of the puppies going home with their new families.

We wish everyone lots of luck with their new furry babies. Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions/queries and please send us some photos of you and your pup!

Thank you to everyone at the Northern Branch for all the help and guidance you have given us, we would have been lost without your expertise and humour.

Thank you also to Ros and Phil of Misteishah Kennels for your incredible expertise since day dot. Without you guys we would never have had the opportunities we've taken and of course our beautiful girl Inca.

Thank you to Vicki of Vonisar Kennels for letting us use your beautiful boy Kasey and all the helpful advice you provided throughout to us newbies.

Finally, a huge thank you to Virginia and the Whittlesea Vet for bringing these babies into the world.

Without all of you none of this would have been able to happen. Thank you.

Four Weeks Old

Hi everyone!

The pups have graduated to the deck and back lawn! They are very active, love playing with each other/beating each other up and chewing everything they can get a hold of. Everyone is 2kg or over and loving their solid food. Here are some photos that we took this afternoon.

Three Weeks Old

Hi All,

The pups have started eating solids the last few days. They really loved it this morning, nearly eating a whole plateful. Very encouraging. Teeth are through now as well, apart from the very back molars, which look huge. Very good for eating fingers and toes of course :)

Here are a few photos we took at breakfast time this morning. You should have heard the racket they were making before they got their tucker. They definitely have fantastic lungs.

We call the bottom picture "Where's Daisy/Pile O' Pups". Enjoy!

Two Weeks Old and then some

Hi all, Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend [and Valentine's Day].

The pups and Inca are doing great. They all have their collars on now and have little nicknames. We weighed them again yesterday and all are over one kilo, the porkies!

Here is some information about the pictures below; the red collar is Rosie, pink is Beyonce, blue is Ace the boy, yellow is Daisy and white is the littlest, Squeak. Everyone's eyes are open now and they are starting to walk around. I say walk, but really it is a drunken sailor, stumbling type movement.

Cheers,

The Eboninca Team

One Week Old

One week on and Inca and her puppies are coming along brilliantly.

Everyone is putting on weight nicely, especially Ace, the not so little boy. Eight days old and he is already a kilo!

Inca is doing fantastically. She is comfortable leaving her pups for a short period, racing back to them anytime one makes a noise [which is often, the squawkers]. She has a few new facial expressions now; the glowing, look-at-my-precious-babies-aren't-they-perfect face, and the put-them-back-now-please face. We could not be happier with how she is taking to motherhood.

Collars will be going on this weekend so differentiating between the three big girls will become much easier. Will upload a photo of the pups in their new bling once we decide who gets the precious pink collar.

For now, here is a picture of the babies I took this morning. Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend and is looking forward to meeting the babies in a few short week's time :)

Puppies!

Hi All!

We are pleased to announce the safe arrival of five beautiful puppies. Four girls and one boy.

Inca went into the early stages of labour on the Wednesday night, giving it a fair go until Friday morning when pups finally came out via caesarean. All the pups are healthy and happy [and huge!]. Mum is happy learning the ropes and enjoying these strange squeaky blobs.

A huge thank you to Virginia and the Whittlesea Vet for helping bring these not so little guys into the world.

Litter Update

Hi all!

Inca had her X-Ray done today. She has a very big belly full of puppies! All the pups look healthy, happy and strong.

Fingers crossed for the whelping next week. We will give another update once the fun is over and mum and bubs are happy and jolly.

Expected Litter...

The Eboninca Team is pleased to announce that we will soon be able to hear the pitter patter of little paws. Inca's pregnancy was confirmed on the 30th of December at Monash Vet, all pups are looking very healthy and happy via ultrasound. Inca is due to whelp of the 29th of January.

We are now accepting expressions of interest for this litter. Please call Dianne on 0409 173 764 for more details.

Breeding News

We are pleased to announce that we have mated Misteishah Danalee "Inca" BSC2 AZ with Zandrac The Hard Way "Kasey" BSC1 AZ on the 28th of November. We are booked in for a scan at Monash Vet on December 30th to confirm the pregnancy, although she has been sleeping lots which is a good sign. Our next update will be after the 30th :)
